My First Card Ever!

Hello!
Don't get confused by the title today.. Yes, this is my first handmade card, but not the way it sounds! I've been making card since I was 9-10 years old.. But there were no specific rules for that! Those were hand written, hand drawn, roughly cut & folded & could be made of any type pf paper!

I've been Selected as a Design Team Member for Crafter's Companion USA last month, & I got my welcoming gift this week... I fell in love with mixed media 3/4 years ago, & am practicing for 2 years.. I did some works on paper, but not with die cutting machine, embossing folders or even alcohol markers! So, it was quite challenging for me to make the first project.. So, I went for an easy one!
So here is my first card ever ... I made a card base out of kraft paper, For the card front I used the same paper, ran through the Gemini Diecutting & Embossing machine with an embossing folder that came with the machine. Then, I traced & colored the embossed area with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers. Did some shading with the versamark ink pen & at last embellished with some flatback pearls & rhinestones..
This is a very busy week for me.. My son's birthday is coming in 2 days... But, still I am excited to experience the new ways of crafting.. Thank you for your time to read my writing..

Here is the list of the supplies used:
Spectrum Noir Alcohol MarkersDG4, CG2, BT5, BT4, CR10, DR1, OR1, BP6, PL1, GB8 (don't forget to check out the new colors! )

Create!

Hello everyone!
Today I'm going to share my latest Mixed media art for my Etsy Shop

If you see my artworks, you'll know I love multiple colors! But, I don't know why I was craving for a monochromatic artwork for a long time! But, every time I started one, I ended up adding more colors...

This time, I controlled myself & tried to stick with the shades of red/pink! :)

Ok, yes I added some splashed of black, white & gold here & there... But, still the main focus is the red/pink color, right?! So, it can still be called as "Monochromatic"! ;)

I loved the way I could manage to arrange the floral embellishments.. & seems like all of my friends fell in love with the Create "Light Bulb"!

What about you? Did you like my work? <3

If you liked my work & want to see more of my artworks, leave a comment!
Thank you! <3
