New releases from Crafter's Companion on HSN July 11th 2017

Do you know what's coming on HSN tomorrow from the Crafter's Companion USA? A lot of new products! Let me show you what I created from some of those..

This Mixed Media canvas a set of stamps & dies from Sheena Douglass called, "time travellers"... This will be an amazing collection if you are a mixed media & steampunk fan like me! It is also great for creating cards for men! I loved the gear dies & hot air balloon stamp so much! The dies does not only cut, but also embosses in specific areas & matches perfectly with the stamps! :) The stamps can be used individually too!

This is another stamp set from Sheena.. These are called the "Text Stamps".. There are 4 of these, I used the "Smile" one on this canvas...  

This is from another collection of Sheena stamps! These are called "Temptingly Tropical"... I have used the "hummingbird" stamp on this card.. The other ones ones are amazing too! don't forget to check them out!!!   

 

These flowers are great right? These are made from Die'sire Quilling rolled flower dies! Trust me, you will fall in love with these dies once you start using these.. I used a pre scored card from the 30 pack blank cards & for the sentiment, I used another stamp set from the text stamps..  

Yes, these are the flowers I made with the dies...  

Here is an altered photo frame which I decorated with these flowers..   

 

After creating two project with these dies & the pre cut papers, I decide to experiment with craft foam... & the result was amazing! This is a hair barrette, where I used the foam flowers.. :)      

And... Lastly, the product that is coming back to HSN the 3D Embossing folders... These amazing multi dimensional folders will be available tomorrow! If you have missed last time, grab it now!

Eid Greetings Card with Crafter's Companion & Altenew

Hello everyone! It's been a month, I didn't write any blog post... Last month was the month of "Ramadan" (according to Arabic Lunar Calendar), which is a very important month for the muslims all over the world.. We fasted from before dawn till sunset everyday & also got involved with lots of religious duties..

Aaannndddd...., I made some cards! I made some Eid Cards.. Eid-al-Fitr is the day when we celebrate the end of Ramadan.

 

When I first decided to make Eid cards for my Etsy shop, I was confused how to put on the sentiments! So, I did some research & luckily found only 2 youtube videos, from the same Crafter, where she used stamp sets from Altenew.

I was soooo happy to find this! Though there are 3 stamp sets on Eid & ramadan, I decided to buy one for now! 

 

Now, as you know I am a new card maker, all the cardmaking & the papercrafting supplies I have, is from the Crafter's Companion, which I have got or bought as a design team member! So, all of my cards were mostly made from Crafter's Companion products.

 

I have used the 3D Embossing folders & the Decorative edges from the Crafter's Companion to create the cards... 

I enjoyed making these cards very much! & Have decided to make more for the Eid-al-adha.. & may be some more other occasion cards too!

I have sold 12 cards this time Alhamdulillah.. Hope this is just the beginning for my shop! Let me know which one is your favorite!

3D Embossing Folder

Hi everyone! A few more hours left for the release of the amazing Crafter's Companion products on HSN! I'm very excited about it! So, I thought I should share another amazing product that will be coming on HSN tomorrow! 

 We all know, embossing folders are great to add textures to our papercrafting.. But, have you ever heard of "3D Embossing"? Crafter's Companion has produced a set of embossing folders, which have more depth than regular folders & also embosses in different levels! I made a card with one of these using a silver mirror cardstock, & it looks so amazing!

A "Sheena" inspired Mixed Media Art

Hello Everyone! Today I'm going to share another mixed media canvas art. This canvas pannel has been decorated with "Sheena Douglass" stamps, dies & stencils from the Crafter's Companion, and these will be available on HSN on 9th may 2017.

 I loved making this Canvas so much, that I'm planning to recreate this art for my Etsy shop. 

 on the background, I used a Sheena Create-A-Flower Stencil & the green mesh is a die cut from a Sheena Create-A-Flower die. The base looked so amazing, that I couldn't decide what to add next.. Then I decided to add flowers. 

 This pansy is made with Sheena Perfect partners Victorian Florals "Pansy" Stamp & die set. This set is amazing! it looks just like real flowers... There are a lot of other flowers from "perfect Partners Victorian Florals", I think I might end up collecting all of those! The flowers would look better with watercolors, But as I didn't have any, I used Spectrum Noir Alcohol Makers. 

 Though, the flower petals curls a bit naturally, as I used printer paper.. But, still I added some foam tape on the back to hold its dimension.. 

Lastly, I added a sentiment "everything has beauty" with foam tape at the back & some yellow seed beads here & there for texture. And some gesso splatter (I love to do this!)..

My favorite stencil

Hello! Today I'm going to show you something from my comfort zone! Yes, It's a Mixed media canvas art. This canvas is made for the Crafter's Companion USA with their Sheena Create-A-Flower Stencil, which will be available on HSN at 9th May 2017.

 I wasn't very sure, how would the final products look like! But, wanted to experiment my new Artist's Loft Metallic Acrylic Paints on this... & the result was amazing! 

 Once I  layered the Modelling Paste over my Stencil, I knew This is the most amazing stencil I've ever used! This is perfect for mixed media.. believe it or not, I used only 3 colors to create the background & a little touch of Pebeo Guilding Wax on the flowers... 

 Lastly, to make the textures pop out, I applied gesso randomly in a very light layer...

Die'Sire Create-A-Card Die set "Stairway Card"

Hello everyone! Today I am going to show you another card made from another amazing die set from the Crafters Companion. This will also be released on HSN on 9th may..

 This is a unique die set, which scores & cuts at the same time where needed. 

 When you fold the card, it looks just like a normal plain card. I used a foil transfer sentiment & a decorative edge die to decorate.. both will be available on HSN at 9th may. 

 And when you open the card, look how beautiful it looks! A stairway! Isn't that amazing? 

 

A 0.5" alphabet die will also be available with this set which is perfect for the stairs or even for you scrapbooking needs..
